Conflicts of Interest
Last updated: June 2026
BLD PROTECTION LTD (trading as znobia) takes all reasonable steps to identify, prevent and manage conflicts of interest, consistent with the FCA's systems-and-controls rules (SYSC 10). This is a public summary; the firm maintains a fuller internal policy and a conflicts register.
How conflicts can arise
Conflicts may arise between: the firm and a client; one client and another; or the firm's own interests (including remuneration, such as commission or fees received from insurers) and a client's interests.
How we manage them
- Identify & record — potential conflicts are identified and recorded in a conflicts register.
- Act in the client's interests — we structure advice and placement to serve the client's best interests.
- Disclose — where a conflict cannot be managed with reasonable confidence that the risk of harm to the client is prevented, we disclose its nature and source so the client can decide on an informed basis.
- Remuneration transparency — the basis of our remuneration (fees and/or commission) is disclosed to clients before cover is arranged.
